Dance Company

Aaron Smith from Garden City, Michigan studied at Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science as a Dance Major. Aaron was a Maggie Allesee Department of Dance talent scholarship recipient all four years at Wayne State University. Smith dances for Ron De Jesús Dance with performances at the Joyce Soho in New York City (2010), The Joffrey Studios in Chicago (2011), Chicago’s Dance for Life performance (2011), “Leather Tongues” (2013), 313-212 Choreographer's expo (2014), and "Hyper Human" (2014). Aaron performed in a collaboration with Ron De Jesús and Chicago's jazz artist Paul Marinaro's live band entitled "Without A Song" (2014).  MORE

Autumn Eckman is a Chicago based dancer, choreographer and teacher. She instructs dancers of all ages in classical and contemporary ballet, modern and jazz, and is a full time Instructor of Dance at Northern Illinois University's School of Theatre and Dance. Autumn's directorial credits include: Director of Giordano II and Assistant Artistic Director/Resident Choreographer of Giordano Dance Chicago. In 2014, she was the Artist-In-Residence for State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara.  MORE

Jamy, born in Lubbock, TX, danced with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for thirteen years and Nederlands Dans Theater for Three. He graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BFA in dance and has taught master classes across the U.S. In his performing career he has been fortunate to work with many of the contemporary dance worlds leading choreographers, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Crystal Pite, Lightfoot/Leon, Daniel Ezralow and Margot Sappington to name a few. He also enjoys coaching preprofessional dance artists to help them advance in their technique and performance abilities.

Shauna Zambelli was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Oakland University. Some of Shauna’s professional dance credits include: Fox network’s Ally McBeal and The Tracey Ullman Show, Microsoft Industrial for Xbox, Ushers music video “Pop Your Collar” and Shawn Barrows music video “Army of Kings”, Casino Windsor Show Time Lounge production shows, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Kristine Bendul most recently seen in her seventh Broadway show Cinderella. Other Broadway favorites include: Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away and Movin’ Out in which she was nominated for a Helen Hayes award. Kristine has also appeared on NBC’s Smash, PBS’ Camelot live from Lincoln Center, four City Center Encores productions and numerous other theater and TV productions.
